Fudge Pecan Pie-Candlewick


  • Yield: 8 slices 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tbs butter
  • 1 1/2 square chocolate (unsweetened)
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 tbs flour
  • 1 1/2 tbs white Karo Syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 1 regular unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter.
  3. Cool.
  4. Beat eggs until light.
  5. Add flour and beat until smooth.
  6. Add Karo, sugar, salt, and vanilla.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Add the chocolate mixture and mix well.
  9. Add nuts.
  10. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.
  11. Bake for 45 minutes.
  12. Turn oven off and cool in oven 10 minutes.
