French Cherry Pie Filling--Candlewick

  • Yield: 8 slices 1x


This was used in the tarts on top of the filling

Pie filling

  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powder sugar
  • 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Tart filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar


Pie filling

  1. Soften the cream cheese
  2. Mix in the powdered sugar.
  3. Whip the heavy cream and fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Place in pie shell and let refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  5. Cover with cherry pie filling and let set 4 hours before serving.

Tart filling

  1. Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar well in a mixer.
  2. Fold in whipped cream as needed.
  3. Spread in a tart shell and top with cherry pie filling.
