Slow Cooker Glazed Ribs

  • Yield: 3 servings 1x


  • 1 pkg pork loin or baby back ribs
  • 1/2 medium onion (sliced thin)
  • 3-4 cloves garlic (peeled)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup peach, apricot or plum preserves
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce or ketchup
  • 1 tbs tomato paste
  • 1/2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 6-10 dashes tobasco or other hot sauce
  • 1/2 tbs brown grainy mustard
  • 1 tsp chili paste (OPTIONAL)


  1. Place the ribs in a slow cooker.
  2. Add the onions, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover with the lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  4. Strain off the cooking liquid leaving the onions and garlic.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the preserves, tomato sauce, tomato paste, worcesterhip sauce, tobasco, mustard, and chili paste.
  6. Pour the sauce over the ribs and be sure to coat them well.
  7. Cover the pot and allow to heat for at least 20 minutes and up to an hour with the slow cooker turned off.
