Chicken Lazone

  • Yield: 4 servings 1x


  • 1/2 pkg spaghetti or linguini noodles
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 1 tbs chicken or veggie broth
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbs butter (divided)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • Parmesan cheese (GARNISH)


  • 2 tbs garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp parlsey
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp adobo


  1. In a large bowl, place chicken.
  2. Coat the chicken with the seasoning (set a small amount aside) and set aside
  3. In a large skillet, melt half of the butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the garlic, olive oil, and the seasoned chicken and cook until the chicken in browned on all sides and cooked through.
  5. In a small cup, mix the cornstarch and broth with a small amount of cream until combined.
  6. Add the remaining butter and cornstarch mixture to the skillet and mix until fully incorporated.
  7. Add the remaining cream to the pan.
  8. Reduce the heat and let simmer until the sauce thickens.
  9. Taste and add additional seasoning to taste
  10. Add the peas and cook until heated through.
  11. In a large pot of salted water, boil the pasta until al dente, then drain well.
  12. Serve the chicken and the sauce over the pasta
  13. Top with grated parmesan when serving.
