Apple (Fruit) Crisp

Substitute any fruit that you like and is in season

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups apples (pared and sliced (or berries))
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 Tbs candied ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Put fruit in a shallow baking dish.
  3. Add lemon juice.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and butter.
  5. Mix until it is fine crumbles.
  6. Sprinkle over fruit.
  7. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
  8. Serve warm and top with a dollop of whipped cream
