Description

A tuna pasta salad


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 pkg small bowtie pasta (cooked al dente)
  • 1 can chunk tuna in water (drained or 1/2 jar Tonino tuna in oil)
  • 1 ea carrot (grated)
  • 1 stalk celery (diced)
  • 1/8 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/8 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp basil (dried)
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • to taste salt
  • 2 tbs Wasabi mayonnaise (OPTIONAL)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to directions on the package.Drain.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine onions, carrot, tuna, and celery.
  3. Then add pasta.
  4. Add mayonnaise, basil and ground pepper.Mix thoroughly.
  5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  6. Just before serving, add sunflower seeds and stir well.
