Rich Rice pudding


  • Yield: 4 1 cup 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup white rice (washed)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins (OPTIONAL)

Instructions

  1. Put washed rice in a buttered casserole dish.
  2. Add cinnamon, salt, molasses and milk.
  3. Bake at 325 degrees about 3 hours.
  4. Stir occasionally.
  5. If desired, add 1 cup raisin about 1/2 hour before done.
