Cream of Onion Soup


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 medium onions
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream
  • 3 cups white sauce

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in skillet.
  2. Add thinly sliced onions and salt.
  3. Cover.
  4. Cook over medium heat until onions are tender.
  5. Add the milk.
  6. Add the onion mixture to the hot wite sauce.
  7. Heat through, season and serve.
