Peas and Cauliflower in Spicy Yogurt Sauce

  • Yield: 4 cups 1x


  • 1 small cauliflower (broken into florets and steamed until tender-crisp)
  • 1 cup frozen petite peas
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • to taste salt
  • 1 clove garlic (finely minced)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper


  1. In a medium-size serving bowl, whisk together the yogurt, garlic, turmeric, cumin, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until the mixture is creamy.
  2. Add the steamed cauliflower and thawed peas.
  3. Fold the vegetables gently to coat.
  4. Cover and refrigerate if not serving immediately.
