Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbs chili powder
  • to taste fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 pkg frozen corn
  • 1 pk egg noodles (cooked until tender)
  • 1 tsp oregano (dried)
  • 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. In a heavy skillet, cook ground meat, garlic, and onion until meat is brown.
  2. Mix in tomatoes, salt, chili powder, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Add corn and heat through.
  4. In a greased baking dish, place 1/2 of the noodles, then half the meat mixture.
  5. Repeat.
  6. Add the grated cheese to the top and bake about 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
