Cilantro Mint Chutney


  • Yield: 3 cups 1x

Description

Can be added to plain yogurt to create a base for raita


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3-4 bunches cilantro (washed)
  • 1 bunch mint (washed)
  • 1 1/2-2 medium fresh jalapeños (stems removed)
  • 2 large limes juiced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • water

Instructions

  1. Place cilantro and mint in a blender with enough water to liquify.
  2. Blend until liquid.
  3. Add the jalapeños and blend well.
  4. NOTE: Use whole jalapeño including seeds, etc.
  5. Use all of cilantro and mint, including stems.
  6. Once blended, pour into a bowl.
  7. Squeeze in lime juice and add salt.
  8. Adjust seasoning to taste.
