Apricot Bars


  • Yield: 24 bars 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup apricot preserves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Sift together dry ingredients.
  3. Stir in oats and sugar.
  4. Cut in butter till crumbly. .
  5. Put 2/3 of crumbs in 11 X 7 X 1 1/2 pan.
  6. Spread with preserves; top with remaining crumbs.
  7. Bake about 35 minutes.
  8. Cool and cut.
