Strawberry Ice Box Pie--Candlewick

Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 10 oz pkg frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbs cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 medium lemon, juiced
  • 4 tbs butter

Instructions

  1. Combine cornstarch with the sugar and mix in the strawberries.
  2. Cook over low heat until thick.
  3. Add the salt, lemon juice, and butter.
  4. Pour into a baked pie shell.
  5. Chill until ready to serve.
  6. Top with whipped cream when serving.
