Orange Glazed Carrots

  • Yield: 2 servings 1x


  • 1 pound baby carrots (or full sized carrots, cut into chunks)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (or juice from 1 orange)
  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 1 pinch salt


  1. Place carrots in a shallow saucepan and cover with water.
  2. Over medium-high heat, bring to a boil.
  3. Cook until carrots are just tender.
  4. Drain carrots and return to the pan.
  5. Pour the orange juice over the carrots and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.
  6. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add the brown sugar, butter, and salt and heat until sugar and butter are melted and carrots are coated.
